It's not inherently childproof; danger to the baby. See photo. Didn't even last 2 days with an active 8 month old who only has 2 tiny teeth.

I have these for my desk legs at work. I was constantly fidgeting in my chair and kneed one of the legs several times a day. I have now used this on all problem areas and can report that my knees are much happier with the pillow. My only complaint is that some areas are raised and I have to slide them back from time to time. I cleaned the area before applying and it's a smooth finish too.

This was not particularly easy to install (I had to cut corners during installation). The glue didn't hold and started falling off after just a few hours but I used strips to secure it which helped some but not completely. All in all, it still saves my baby from cutting his head if he falls out of bed and bangs on the bedside table, but I've bought better bumper covers that have strong adhesion and last for years. I don't expect this to be enough in the long run.

I bought this for my kitchen corner. The way the back is made has a ridge across the top edge and can kill your back if you lean on it. I saw this product and decided to try it. I installed it and it works great. I used my own foam tape because I didn't think the included double sided tape would be strong enough or damage the woodwork more if I decided to remove it. Works very well, easy to cut and adapt to any corner to be protected. Very good/protective padding. It started to loosen at one end because my little one is playing with it. And I have a feeling it was because I taped it on and then took it off to get a better fit so the glue on that end has "worn off". Did what I needed. My fireplace in my new home had very sharp edges. You can see how sharp they were on the last shot with no foam. I was afraid my little one would trip and cut himself.
