Did what I needed. My fireplace in my new home had very sharp edges. You can see how sharp they were on the last shot with no foam. I was afraid my little one would trip and cut himself. This foam feels a little wider than most people will ever need, but it was pretty easy to cut to the right size for my needs. I trimmed it down to 3 buds wide. Other products weren't customizable enough to work for me in this place. So far the foam feels secure and very protective. I think it's likely that my little one will notice and rip it apart, but hopefully it will work for a while. I really wish it had come with extra tape as I have a strip that I cut off but it was enough to hold the foam in place if I didn't cut off the excess.
