Not a financially sound tool, best scanners with no annual fee

I had a hard time reviewing this product, but I feel I should. I purchased this product specifically to bleed my car's (2017 Cadillac ATS) ABS system and technically it got the job done, but not without faults.1. First, to use this constantly for ABS venting or airbag access will cost you $30 a year for each feature, plus many other features were also behind a paywall. In truth, I would do that once a year at most. I must have misunderstood, but I figured the fee would only apply to a couple of cars. There are other scanners that work for the same money with no subscription fee that are also sold at Revain. It made sense to me. To be clear, this was the main reason for returning this item.2. It was immediately difficult to set up and use, the first time I plugged it into my computer it automatically recognized it and downloaded some files. This allowed me to access multiple areas, check codes, and see different computers. However, when I tried to access the ABS system, the bones wouldn't go. After an hour of tinkering, I realized that I might need to download some additional files. That's why I was looking for a Cadillac. Nothing, then I looked for a Chevy. Nothing. Hmm ok I spent a few minutes scrolling by hand and found gm. Then I download the file package and voila, now I'm one step closer. I tried accessing the vent system and was basically told the computer didn't meet my conditions. The tool didn't tell you what options/conditions are required, so I spent the next hour trying everything. What secret combination was that the light must be off, the electronic brake on, the car must be neutral (manual control car) and then the car must be in service mode.3. Thankfully I included a factory bleed as the method outlined in the app was completely wrong and wrong. But actually he turned on the pump and in the end my pedal got where I wanted. If you weren't computer obsessed, I don't think you would be able to use this app and device. This was the most complex and confusing scan tool I have ever used and I have used OEM scan tools (Tech II), Solus and others. This setup gives you access to a lot of data, but not without a lot of user trial and error. *** First of all, this does not allow me to change exhaust systems or anything else in the car, such as B. windows to monitor / test. Which struck me as very strange
