These "Street Lanterns " are NOT WATERPROOF!
I thought these lights would be great as I could hang them up for Halloween and make them orange and then just leave them for the holidays and change the color and/or pattern (color change or shimmer) depending on the circumstances. However, the connections inside the LED lights rust after just 9 days of hanging outside! They are absolutely NOT acceptable for outdoor use in rain and snow, despite being advertised as being for outdoor use. These lanterns were a waste of money and time to hang up and now take them down and return. Extremely disappointing!
