Tool specially designed to remove VVT Solenoid Valve (N205 Valve) does not fit flush with part. (I mean the silver tool with the notches directly opposite) The tool fits and is properly aligned. Yes. The tool "allows" to remove and install a part. Yes. However, take this with a grain of salt. Since it doesn't sit flush, you'll need to keep one hand on the removal tool while using the other to turn the ratchet. This is far from ideal due to the sheer amount of force required to remove this part. (Also, if you don't have someone else, you'll have to find a way to keep the camshaft from turning when you turn it to remove it.) Installation becomes even more difficult. Because it doesn't sit flush, it will continue to slide out of the part and may damage the part in the engine. THEY DON'T WANT IT. This tool MUST be flush as you will need to apply 26 lb-ft of torque with a torque wrench. Trying to do this with a sliding tool wasn't ideal and I ended up having to buy an official VW. As I said, it fits. But because the slots aren't long enough, the part gets screwed into the engine, it starts to slip and your ability to get the job done right is reduced. I would ONLY recommend this if you are on a budget and have no other choice. This thing can damage your part and therefore your engine.
