Classic Drawing Pencil

This is so dated it should get 5 stars. Some things have fallen out of time. I have one somewhere that might be a different brand but I know it's over 40 years old. Durable mechanism. They hardly wear out or break. You either love fat lead or you hate it. As a rule, any serious mechanical drawing requires sharpening the pen, but for the artist it can only be a bee's knees, especially for shading and shading. Don't worry about lead sharpeners. You just break the lead. Instead, stick 150-grit sandpaper on a Home Depot paint stirrer or dipstick and sharpen the lead on it. Uh, if you're wearing a white shirt, of course you have to be careful. Either way, the pencil does what it's supposed to do and holds the lead securely. Some users will be annoyed with a mechanism that doesn't advance the guide incrementally. But when you touch the paper or anything else, press your thumb on top of the pen to release the lead, then lift the pen slightly and release the tip to re-engage the lead. Well, it's easy and you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive
