Works great, check engine light removed.
Works great so far! The car generated a CEL code for the knock sensor. The store said it would be at least $175. I made it myself for $12 and five minutes of work. The Check Engine light has been off for two days now and the car definitely idles better and seems to have a little more power at low rpm. I will update if anything changes. Check out YouTube, there are several videos on how to replace this knock sensor on a Subaru. A few helpful tips and all you need is a 12mm socket with an extension.
