my kids loved it! This is the perfect gift for any Minecraft fan. Here's how it works: - Set the scene, choose the background, place the characters and use the app to take a picture of it. Then use your app to add a comment or narration. What I liked: - Comes with creeper, anvil, trident, 3 backgrounds, lava floor, water floor and blocks (stone and sand as my kids said). - very easy to use. the main function of the application. My 6 and 8 year olds were able to figure out how to use it without parental help. - Children can let their imagination run wild, make up a story and practice spelling as they add narration to a comic. What I didn't care about: - We had to buy additional characters (we bought Steve and Alex) to be able to create a compelling story. I wish the comic artist had more characters. - While the app was easy to use, it had to be restarted a few times because it couldn't open the comics the kids were working on. - The application can insert comics into the movie and add sounds. We couldn't get this feature to work, but the kids don't mind. It's listed for $29.99, which I thought was expensive considering there was only one character. Overall, my kids really liked this product. They have played with him a lot and are not tired yet. They are proud of their finished comic. The price is high considering you have to buy more characters, which is my main complaint. However, it's still a very fun gift for a Minecraft lover!
