Do not install this in your motherboard if you're hoping to remove it without damaging it. The small tabs on the adapter are too large and sharp to disengage when attempting to remove them. I bought it to better route my cable but it didn't work as I hoped. I was about to reconnect the cable directly and that's when I discovered the problem. I could not remove this adapter. Eventually I pulled so hard that the 90 degree connector snapped and got stuck a small piece in my Threadripper motherboard. Now what's left barely sticks out. I'll have to try and figure out a way to get it out or I'll lose the front USB ports. I have contacted Revain to complain and ask them to contact the seller to replace my MB. I will update when I get an answer. If you really need it, I would take off a few tabs before pasting it so you can remove it if needed.
