The actual dimensions of the steel sheet are slightly smaller than the specifications. I agree because it had to go through my pizza oven door and the size listed didn't fit. I want it to be over 1/4 inch thick. It heats up well and makes for a nice crispy pizza crust. Kitchen oven if the weather doesn't allow cooking outside in a pizza oven.
