My daughter was complaining on knee pain during her gymnastics classes. She was probably doing too many hours/week and overuse was part of the problem. Dr said she needed to take a little break and rest and could go to PT. Given the diagnosis (patellar tendonitis), I found this strap here and ordered it for her to use during practice. She did say it got in the way during some of the warm ups and conditioning, but using it during practice must have given her knee the support it needed and she says her knee doesn't hurt any more (she didn't end up going to PT, but did ice her knee after practice). Good value (you get two straps) and the fact that there are also two strap size options that come with it was great. Worked for my 10 y.o. and larger strap would work for an adult. I picked the royal blue -ish color, but there are many colors to pick from. Would recommend.
