I ordered this solar panel for a week long trip. I have an external battery but it's only enough to charge my phone for about 3 nights. While not as fast as a traditional charger, I was able to use my phone as a camera for the duration of the trip. Even on an overcast day, I was able to charge my phone before reaching camp that evening by attaching solar panels to my backpack during the day's hike. It's slightly larger than my battery but weighs about the same and is flexible. Attached to the outside of my bag, it didn't take up any extra space. As for durability, time will tell, but it seems great. The panels have a protective layer that has not received any scratches and the body of the panels is made of a dense fabric material that shows no signs of wear apart from a small amount of dirt from my placement on the floor. Highly recommended!
