I've worn and loved Nike shoes for years! Flex 2015, 2016, 2018 - love them! But these downshifters are a big disappointment. IMHO, terrible design. The laces are difficult to tie and untie. Where flex soles are convex and rounded at the edges, these soles are like steam iron soles, like a flat sheet of plywood. The edges are sharp 90Β° angles; Toes tend to drag behind the pushing foot; Heels tend to drag as you walk forward. These shoes pulled my ankle socks right under my arches. Also, they tend to bounce small rocks. To me, these downshifters are one (worn) and ready (thrown in the back of the closet in the Never Wear Again archives). They cast a shadow over Nike's vibrant image. Sorry but that's my experience with them.
