My little Yorkshire, Sofia, little gem; However, she is still a pup who needs some discipline with her barking and jumping. I hated using a bark collar that wriggled. My brother bought it for his dog for the same reason. I've been waiting to see how successful he is. I saw how it works on Louis with my own eyes and decided to try it on Sophia. I read a lot before making my decision; I don't want to cause physical discomfort when I'm disciplined. From what I understand, it just gets their attention; thereby distracting them from undesirable behavior. It really works! If she barks excessively and unnecessarily, I say the command "don't bark" and immediately press the button. She stops barking and looks around, almost confused. First she started barking again and I had to push the button a second or third time. After a few times, she received a message - now a click of a button is enough. It works for her on level 1 or 2. I totally recommend this gadget if you have the same problem with your little four-legged friend!
