I have these in several places where there is a water source throughout the house. In our previous house, the water supply to the refrigerator was cut off. Nice to have these products to avoid this in our new home. Installation was very easy. Just follow the instructions to add sensors. Before purchasing sensors, you must purchase a Govee Gateway. Most gateways are equipped with one or two sensors. I just wanted more for the laundry, fridge, sinks, sump etc. I tested the sensors and they worked great. I love that they have a loud alarm sound and also send a notification to your phone. I have seen several water sensors that only have an audible signal. My issue with them is that water can wreak havoc pretty quickly. This system sends an alert to your phone so you can respond more quickly to a problem.
