Review on 6 Feet Silverback 12 AWG Speaker Wire - High Strand Count with Banana Plugs by Ashley Ellis

These are simply amazing speaker cables. I have an amp with banana plugs, speakers without them and was willing to just snip off the other ends, but WHAT A BONUS - these cables have a couple of set screws in each banana plug (as opposed to soldered or crimped). This allows them to be completely removed and reinstalled if I ever buy new speakers with banana plugs. How cool is that?!? So these are really, really thick cables with lots of (apparently 250+, I didn't count) tiny, real copper wires. I've seen many other cables made of copper-coated aluminum. Well, copper is pretty expensive these days, but don't skimp on sound quality. Cables with so many small wires are not rigid at all. I'm not a music lover but I swear I can hear the difference. (okay, the fact that I replaced the 3 twisted pair PA silver wires may have an impact). but seriously - these are really very cool cables. Completely satisfied :)
