Review on Spirograph 01001 S 🎨 Deluxe Design Set: Unleash your Creativity! by John Hashman

Completely useless garbage! Honestly I don't understand the positive reviews. As kids we had the "original" from Hasbro in the 70's. It had pins to attach the wheels to the thick cardboard provided. The wheels were thicker, didn't bend as much. We played with it for hours and never got tired of using it. I was afraid to buy it when I read the description, but seeing all the "great" reviews, decided to give it a try. Mounting wheels is one of the most idiotic ideas I've ever seen. I tried setting this up and after seeing how lame the install was it came back in the shipping box to ship back. The putty stuck to the paper, lifting the wheel just enough for the inner wheel to fit under the attached wheel, rendering it unusable. I could go on and on but I won't. I will say to the reviewers who wrote that this is the best thing since sliced bread, you must have never seen the original spirograph. If so, then you must own shares in the company that destroyed the original design. For Kahootz Toys, did you really have to cheapen and ruin such an amazing, creative, and genius drawing toy? How much did you save by using putty instead of the original design? The packaging is better made than the product itself. Why on earth?
