Works well. Not very strong. I think he advertised that he could reach a simulated speed of 50mph, but not that much. I was hoping to use it for flyball practice (I'm too old to throw tons of high balls or throw a few handballs in the outfield), but it's not really powerful enough to be effective with a regular small ball to be. Hardball League. Let's say at a 45 degree angle he only threw the ball to a distance of about 25 feet and maybe 45 feet. So yes, it works, just not very well.
