I put the iPad in the unit and it fell over from the weight. Nothing I've tried has held the iPad upright (at an angle). This requires a bit of adjustment to create a wider and longer base at the hips to provide a lot more support. Take a look at the recently released MYGOFLIGHT leg mounts for iPad/tablets - they're a little pricey but offer adequate support and stability. After an initial one (1) star rating, the seller refunded my money. If they upgrade the device to offer more stability similar to the MYGOFLIGHT device at a reasonable price, they will take a big market share from the competition.
