I bought an Arctix Boys Ronan insulated winter jacket for my grandson. I liked the fact that this jacket is very warm but not bulky. So when he carries his backpack to school or buckles up in the car, his body is not constricted. He says it's easy to walk and play in and feels very comfortable in it. He also wore a thick hoodie under his jacket and still had a lot of freedom of movement. It's winter, and we've had a recent thaw. When he played outside, the outside of his jacket was wet, but the inside and his clothes were dry. The jacket also washes very well, keeps its color and seems to be holding up very well. We've had windy -20 degree days and 40 degree days and this jacket worked. Excellent quality!
