The new one has a metal strip where the handle goes to the controller which I think makes it more durable. Looks just like the original, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is how hard I had to squeeze to put the new one on. I was afraid of breaking something else. So, it's a bit tricky to install, but it works as it should. TO EDIT; After 1 month this replacement ripped like the original. Also, it's so hard to press that the timer is broken. There are only small plastic clips holding the timer in place, and by squeezing the handle hard, one of them broke.
