I read many reviews before buying this mount. Like some other reviewers, I was very skeptical when it arrived. The box was tiny and I just didn't think it would hold an iPad well. But it works, it's strong enough and we're happy with it. We use it to keep the iPad next to the fridge in the kitchen in a high-traffic area so we can add items to our shopping list, which is also instantly available on our phones. We have teenagers but if I had younger children I would be concerned that they would accidentally rip it off the wall. But I don't really know which hidden mount is suitable for youth. It seems silly to pay more than $5 for two pieces of hard plastic and some drywall screws, but I think we're paying for the design to make this simple product.
