I've used SOWL since it's creation in 2008 when it was known as Spiceworks. The product has evolved tremendously over the last decade, becoming more robust with each release. At this point you can't go wrong with any of these features they have implemented. There are so many different options within the site, but sometimes things get lost in translation between user and admin which makes troubleshooting difficult. It takes some time to learn how things work and what tools/features may be missed or not understood by others who use the software. We needed something simple where we could easily track all our equipment and vendors from one place. A lot of other similar sites didn't allow us to do this without tons of custom coding. Also helped with vendor management.
