I have a very rare Subaru and it is usually put away for the winter. I made a cover out of old linens, but this year I decided to make an actual car cover. To be honest the main reason I chose this one was the price. As you can see from the photo, the car is wintering in the garage and I just wanted to cover the car with something. This cover is pretty thin but I knew I could make it and if I wanted a thicker cover I would buy a thicker one. The only thing I can really say is pay attention to the front/back tags. I didn't notice this at first and was very annoyed with the fit of the hat, but then I found the label and realized I put the hat on backwards. After screwing it around the lid it fit really well. It was nice to find a cover designed for a station wagon as most are made for sedans or coupes and would not have enough material to cover a station wagon.
