Purchased to fix the headlight flickering problem on my Jeep. My upgraded bulbs used way too much current than the original ones and kept tripping the circuit breaker in the headlight switch. I received this kit and after installation the "flickering" is gone and my headlights are brighter as they connect directly to the battery and not through the whole car wiring harness. It also uses a larger gauge wire than my factory wiring harness which helps with lamp performance. A warning: the headlight connector on my Jeep has wires that come out at a 90 degree angle to the socket, which this kit will not work with. Painless Wiring Technical Support was very helpful in resolving the issue which in my case resulted in replacing the car headlight connector with a straight wire connector. In any case, it was exactly what I needed and a great product!
