Work and beautifully made

I would give it 5 stars but the price should be reduced. Otherwise it works great and keeps my headlights bright. It also kept my LEDs from flickering.

Pros
  • Beautiful design
Cons
  • Faded

Quality lighting and electrical product

I like this product. The only reason it didn't get five stars is that the wire harness wasn't long enough for my application, which is a custom install. I use this in my 1994 Land Rover Defender and the battery is mounted under the driver's seat. But in the quality department, this is a five star product.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • May I add something

Painless Suspension In Parts

This is the easiest and best wiring harness to fit powerful headlights to a classic car. The wiring harness is fused and has separate relays for each circuit. Works perfectly! A little overpriced in my opinion, but this is a great hanger and easy to install. I recommend this product and it was $45 cheaper than Summit or Jegs at Revain!

Pros
  • Brilliantly Made
Cons
  • Replacement Available

great product good for lighting and electrics

expects nothing less from painless; had the opportunity to buy cheaper from several other companies, went painlessly BECAUSE I TRUST THEM. I'm glad I did, I had to modify this suspension a bit to fit my car (just because the suspension is so long it's a lot of work!). It is well made with quality parts; I RECOMMEND

Pros
  • great for me
Cons
  • no instructions

Great upgrade for any car

Purchased to fix the headlight flickering problem on my Jeep. My upgraded bulbs used way too much current than the original ones and kept tripping the circuit breaker in the headlight switch. I received this kit and after installation the "flickering" is gone and my headlights are brighter as they connect directly to the battery and not through the whole car wiring harness. It also uses a larger gauge wire than my factory wiring harness which helps with lamp performance. A warning: theโ€ฆ

Not as good as I expected

Not a bad product but I think it could be better. Didn't quite live up to the Painless name. The relays are extremely large, high-quality, and weather-resistant, but their size borders on obtrusive. Second, the socket did not match my original headlight harness connector, I tried filing and modifying it, even after it did fit the painless socket was too deep to seat and make the connections. Next, the headlight connectors feel like cheap plastic, the connectors are pretty sloppy and look likeโ€ฆ

Looks expensive, but overall partly worth the money

Yes, the price is high. You can buy cheaper components and assemble them yourself. Here are a few reasons I love this set and a few reasons you should build your own. This kit uses two Hella relays which are premium and more expensive than various auto parts. Painless has bundled the common wiring between the relays so nothing is wasted and you only need to connect power and ground (besides the lamps themselves). I quote) and the other was 1/4 or so (for the ground wire.) There are also selfโ€ฆ
