ACR is always high quality.
Just installed on a sailboat and is the second ACR product I own. The mount installs in minutes (screws not included). The NOAA registration form is pre-written with the beacon number, but use online registration as it is easier and faster.
- Registering your EPIRB is mandatory in most countries. Registration is very important because if your beacon ever activates, it lets search and rescue teams know who you are and the contacts provided can provide information about your specific travel plans. Without this information, the search and rescue operation may take longer to begin.
