I recently developed plantar facitis due to recovering from a hip surgery so my gait is readjusting and is affecting my leg and feet. I researched some ways to help with the excruciating pain. Along with icing and elevating compression socks help. I bought these socks as a intro to compression socks for pain. Though I've only had them a little over a month they have helped reduce my pain by half. I don't like wearing socks In the house because my feet get hot at times but I never pull these off they never get too hot for me and I even fall asleep with them on. I replaced my normal shoe socks with these. I plan on getting more as they are great but I do not think that they will stand up to great wear and tear so better to by a lot to share the love between the pairs. I use these with dr. Scholls plantar facitis inserts and I wear brooks adrenaline gts 22 shoes.
