The FRUITEAM 48.5Lbs Fillable Weight Patio Umbrella Base provided the counterweight that I needed for my 10 x 10 umbrella! The umbrella is big and heavy, so I selected the FRUITEAM base as it goes up to 48.5 lbs. I filled it with water for our party, but I plan to fill it with play sand on a permanent basis so I can continue to use it during the fall and winter. It is made of thick plastic and is very durable. The fill cap removes easily and I would suggest using a funnel to fill it with sand. The sleeve for the umbrella pole comes with an insert if you happen to have a slim pole. It works perfectly!
