These rags are not t-shirt material. The fabric resembles a single layer multi-layer hospital blanket. You can see through the fabric. And the cuts are wrong. Some sections are semi-rectangular. Some of them are triangular and smaller. When I unfold the half rectangle it is about 2 feet wide and 18 inches high. They are not perfectly rectangular, but are "hand torn to resemble a rectangle as closely as possible". I counted 23 for this 3 pound bag. So if I cut most of them in half to make half squares I can get up to 40 pieces.
