The round image is the main downside of this lens and it really is a toy lens so no kidding! The quality of the mount is also an issue as it doesn't slide very well on my Sony 6400 E mount (crop sensor). A low-light image quality of 2.0 was also desirable (honest comment from the aforementioned camera's low-light photographer). Didn't expect much and this happened.
