I was a little skeptical when I ordered them, but I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I did was get up and move over them to make sure they were strong enough. They are amazingly stiff and support my 200+ pound body without fear of breaking. The week we had them I had to scrape a lot of food scraps off them. They are easy to clean! Dried stains were removed immediately with the help of a mild cleaning agent and a cloth. I like the size as they fit a lot more than they look and are a comfortable fit for one person. We connected four chairs into a bench that can be divided into several seats. They take up a bit more space than the measurements suggest, as the tomcat and material make the lid about half an inch wider. It probably wouldn't be very noticeable with one, but if you put four side by side they end up being about 52 inches wide. I am very happy with this purchase and will buy again.
