(May 22, 2020) Just received this and have been using it for a few days. So if anything changes, I'll update it quickly. .However, I use magnetic phone holders in my cars. Last week my company truck was wrecked (through no fault of mine) and I needed a temporary magnetic mount for a rental car. Saw this at Revain and thought it would be my best bet, not overly expensive but still high quality and it has a 'locking' screw to hold it firmly against the rental vent. a set screw to tighten (or loosen) the pan head so I can get the perfect angle for a better view of my phone. Quality seems good, it's all plastic with a rubber pad on the magnet part to hold my phone better and I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G phone so it's quite large and hasn't moved, although I have already traveled several hundred miles with this magnetic mount. The magnets hold tight, but you can still take the phone off with little effort. Difficulty sliding out of the magnetic grip with a left to right sliding motion. I hope you decide to purchase this mount and I believe you will be very happy with it.
