Kalar vacuum storage containers are well made, arrive undamaged and have quality lids. On the other hand, the hand vacuum pump is poorly made and doesn't work. There were no instructions so I watched some YouTube videos. I followed the directions and tried many times, the vacuum was so weak it barely held the lid. I can recommend containers, but no hand pump. After writing the above, I found that other buyers of this product had the same issue with the pump. Too bad I didn't check before buying. This is one of three products I have returned due to performance issues.
