Make sure the transmitter and monitor are at the same level, otherwise your transmission will be weak. I hid the transmitter in the trunk and then placed the monitor/receiver at the same height. With all of this, you'll never get a crystal-clear image (no breaks) like you would with a wired rear-view camera. But I'm willing to sacrifice the breaks and switch off for a few seconds.
