I received this printer a few days ago and it has been a great machine so far. As soon as the car is unpacked, the impression is excellent. The only assembly required was to bolt the frame to the base of the machine where the electronics and build plate were located. Then I had to connect four cables: Filament Sensor, X-Axis, Z-Axis and Y-Axis The cable connection area is color coded for the cables themselves for easy connection. The instructions are clear and understandable. I was able to get the printer up and running in less than 30 minutes. As with all FFF 3D printers, the most tedious part was platform leveling. After printing a test print of an owl that was already on the SD card (see images) I went into the slicer software (Cura) and printed the bank (also see images). The results of both prints were excellent for the price of this machine. The layers fit together and I had no issues with warping, extruding, or curling. Although the partial fan can sometimes have a problem with grommets, this can easily be fixed by adding support material to the model. I have another machine - Monoprice Select Mini V2 - for about the same price but a lot less. The moving parts of this machine also wear out much faster. If you are a beginner or need a reliable, stable 3D printer, this machine is a no-brainer. It has excellent print quality, print size, and overall performance.
