I've only had Ninja for a week, so if my impression changes I'll let you know later. First let me say I got this when the price was $144. At the time of writing, the price is $160. For the price I wouldn't take it. Instead I'd pick up one of my 20% off coupons for Bed, Bath and Beyond and get the more expensive Ninja Smart Screen with Fresh Vac just in case I ever need to grind or chop; but since I haven't used this feature on my old processor in over 20 years, I figured it wasn't worth the extra $40 (price difference at the time with the BB&B coupon). I am very happy with my purchase. so far. This blender is amazing! Ever since I got them, I've been making smoothies and pina coladas every day. I really like the individual cups (good thing this model has 2!) which makes it easy to make a smoothie for me and my husband without having to serve it in a separate class. I really want the Single Serve setting to be more than just a pulse, it's a smoothie - even with ice! – crushed so quickly that it wasn't all that difficult to hold down the button. The entire unit is so easy to clean; The blades simply slide out of the main blender jar with no disassembly required on all my previous blenders. I know others have complained about the noise, but it actually isn't even as loud as my crappy old blender; and it breaks ice much more efficiently, I don't have to keep it running as long. My only issue is the food processor lid. Read the PDF files included in the description, as well as the user manual and any documentation that says the BL770 processor cover has a frost hole. I saw that when asked, some people responded that it wasn't, but I decided to trust the guide. Of course when it arrived: no rain hole. I called the Ninja number and spoke to a very nice person who apologized and said he would send me a new bowl for the food processor with the correct lid and rain hole free of charge. It didn't arrive until 5 days later, but it's EXACTLY the same - no drizzle. Looking at the lids of the bowls from below, it looks like it has a "wool" hole, but it just doesn't go all the way through. Now that I had a spare I just used a drill and made myself a drizzling hole in about 2 minutes. I think I could call Ninja back, but I figured I could do it for months and end up with a dozen identical caps with no rain holes! Problem solved.
