2nd update: now the handles are broken. We bought 2 new ones and the handles broke after a month too. They break where the rubber attaches to the hard plastic. They lick when left open and dropped. We checked the straw attachment and everything is fine. We haven't noticed any mold in it and have had a set for over a year. Overall they are worth it for the price but for what I bought to replace broken grips I could have spent more and gotten a more durable one. If they don't break, great! Of the 8 we bought only 2 didn't break and that was the original purchase. I don't know if they changed their manufacture, but none of the newer versions lasted more than a month (if that's the case) before the handle broke. Update: We've had them for a few months now and the tips of the mouth are turning a weird yellowish colour. They met our expectations, although still not leaking (after countless throws and falls). They're easy to clean and we haven't seen any mold issues so far. My only complaint is the tip of the mouth. So far so good, no mold visible. We dried it very diligently with every wash and had no problems with mold. A WHILE. Fingers crossed we don't have this problem. Boys love this bottle. It's easy to drink, easy to carry, and easy to press the button. I want the clear cap to be in a vacuum flask (double layer).
