I am very upset to return this monitor. I expected more from LG's 2021 4k HDR model. First off, the included USB-C cable is not a Thunderbolt cable and will not work with your Mac. You have to buy it from Apple. On a Mac, the washed out color issue can be resolved by disabling HDR in the Mac display settings. So everything is fine. The main issue is that the screen has a lot of viewing angle issues. When I put a dark, solid color window on the screen, the color right in front of me looks right, but the slanted ones look a little shiny. Then when I move my head to the next position, the previous spot looks shiny. I'm used to the old Apple Thunderbolt display which is way better than this one. In terms of cables, it doesn't have many USB ports and only one USB-C.
