If you're James Bond you might need something like this, but otherwise you'll have a hard time seeing the screen. You have to be looking directly at the screen to see this, and I guess I just didn't realize how often I don't. Suppose you have your phone on the table in front of you and you want to see who is calling. You have to pick up the phone and hold it directly in front of you to see who is calling. The same happens when I take a photo. It just complicates things, and for no good reason to me. Instead, I get a transparent protector.
