I’ve adored Pretty Garden ever since discovering their amazing jumpsuits. (Which I liken to the comfort of an adult onesie, but still looks wildly stylish!) So I was completely stoked to discover this gorgeous flannel number for fall/winter.PROS:✔️This lengthy, shirt-like-jacket is a marvel! The material is a wool blend, very soft on the outside, with a great, almost French terry-like interior, so you don’t get fuzz on literally everything you wear under it. Huzzah!✔️The navy color is divine, and you can totally wear it with black and not look weird or like a bruise. Ironically, I wanted one with more brown, but ended up getting the navy because the dominating palette on the style labeled "brown” appeared to have more white than brown. So FYI: if you’re looking for something with lots of neutral brown, you may be better (albeit counterintuitively) served by ordering a navy!✔️Happily, this is warmer than expected. It is not lined, but the weightier material does make this a great between-seasons piece. Or, a nice toasty layer if your spouse is forever setting the thermostat at 64 degrees in winter.🥶✔️Nice, deep pockets. Do note that the breast pockets are merely decorative.NOTEABLES:◾️While I love the cuteness of this shaket unbuttoned, I don’t love the look buttoned up. Don’t get me wrong, relaxed fit is my siren song! But this takes on a very boxy shape when buttoned, so I feel a little like a tartan square. Just a teensy bit of taper in the waist would’ve really catapulted this to 5-star stratosphere for me!◾️Also, I have monkey arms, a fact I’ve accepted since adolescence. So the arm length was (unsurprisingly) a little on the short side for me.Overall, highly recommend this fashionable, affordable, quality shaket for looking cool while keeping snuggly warm this season!
