After reading the reviews my expectations were VERY low. But the price was very low, so I decided to try anyway. Other than that, the screen that was delivered was in perfect condition. It was packaged very well with lots of pillows and was a brand new product. Assembly was very easy and I was a little surprised why some of the reviews I read were so bad. Definitely assembly and operation in less than 5 minutes. A feature of this screen is that it is low to the ground. Not sure what's behind that, but the tripod looks low in the picture. It really is that low in real life, so plan ahead. We used it for a presentation for mom's 70th birthday and we had to put the whole screen on the table so the whole crowd of 150 people could see it well. Otherwise it's a great display and for the price it's worth the money. One star off because the tripod is very low. Although this is a "portable" screen, you will need to purchase your own case or bag. I use a cardboard box, it came as a case and it fits me well. I made sure it was carried by two people at all times to make sure it didn't accidentally fall off and hit something. You get what you pay for. If you use it a few times here and there it will probably pay for itself in the rent. Your mileage may vary. Much luck!
