I really like these gloves. They fit my hands very well, but that's one of the reasons they work so well. The touchscreen functionality works fairly well, but takes a little getting used to. However, they are not isolated. I personally wouldn't use them below 25-30 degrees Fahrenheit. However, beyond that, they are great! A nice feature is that they are so "flat" that I can wear them in thicker padded gloves. It might sound silly, but I used them on a recent hike with temperatures in the 20's and heavy snowfall. When I wanted to take a picture with my smartphone, I simply took off the padded glove, tapped the screen a few times, and then put the padded glove back on. It's better than exposing my skin to the elements for even a minute.
