Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

To upgrade from my K200d, I picked it up in Japan (I used it for a year). I didn't like it when I first held it in my hands to examine it because it's so out of the ordinary. After a day of use, its ergonomics are superior to those of the K200 and it feels great in the hand.
The "peculiar" shift in attention also bothered me, like it did ochen13. I kept pressing the white balance button by accident, then figuring out where it was located in the settings and resetting it. The K200 is back to its original state at this point.
Moreover, another downside is the LiveView mode focusing system. Only the mode where the mirror is raised to the chosen spot works normally and promptly.

Pros

I really don't have anything to contribute to this review. ochen13 The new menu was a huge hit. You no longer have to dig through the menus to find the settings for modifying things like the image format, quality, and primary parameters. Shutter and mirror movement is so smooth that even the slightest trembling of the hand is imperceptible. The video's high quality was impressive, but its large file size was a downside. It is compatible with all non-autofocus threaded lenses, just like prior Pentax models. The stabilizer does its job, and the automation is bug-free (you only need to set the focal length)
