The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

K-x is a cut above in quality at high ISO. Hence the question point-blank to Hoya/Penax: is it really that hard to fix this at the software level for K-7? Pros: Build quality, all-weather, built-in Shake reduction, sensitivity priority mode, fine tuning for optics, relatively small size Cons: noticeably noisy at ISO 1600, heavy video files, focusing when shooting video, inconvenient SD connector

The item is very cool, it could be worse.

I chose different options - in the end I settled on the Sony A550. Different pros: Built-in stabilizer Ability to shoot video. Viewfinder pentaprism. Possibility of dust localization on the matrix. There is an option in a dustproof case. I was pleased with the picture on the site - but what kind of photographer will roll his equipment in the mud? Yes, and WR lenses are a separate song. Has cons: Built-in stabilizer Ability to shoot video. Viewfinder pentaprism. Possibility of dust localization…

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

A very reliable all-weather reporter and an all-powerful studio recorder, an eternal camera for a family home if they don’t hammer nails. For creative natures, all the settings in the camera are there. You can set before shooting, you can edit after. I chose according to the principle: "in any swamp and so without question. " With optics, there are no questions and much cheaper than the rest and better. For doubters, try to find adapters to put Canon or Nikon glass on Pentax, they are not…

Pros
  • Everything: reliability, speed, resource, efficiency, compactness, the kit set is an order of magnitude ahead of everyone in terms of the quality of the result. Stabilizer. Price. Dust and moisture resistance. For dummies, the only setting is a green rectangle and go.
Cons
  • No. All the same, Pentax is the Japanese defense industry, science and medicine.

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

It was the very first SLR camera of its sort. I had a choice between Canon, Nikon, and Pentax cameras that cost up to 50,000 dollars. For over a month and a half, I have been conducting research on the internet. The Canon faithful criticize Nikon, while the Nikon faithful laud Canon. Pentax does not garner much attention from anyone. But it was all in vain - it was a good device: compact, lightweight, comfy, long-lasting, protected, and it produced a quality image. I recently acquired not one…

Pros
  • Autofocus that is sufficiently dependable and colors that are vibrant even when the lighting is poor. Menu and control options that are very easy to utilize. After a couple of days of using it, you will become accustomed to it.
Cons
  • The quality of the kit lens 18-55 is not particularly high. Nevertheless, dustproof.

I like everything, the quality is good, the price is reasonable.

A Pentax K100D existed previously to that model. I am quite happy with him, but I recently came to the conclusion that I am no longer in need of him. I did not go any further because I did not intend to alter the methodology. Even though I observed how the five are shooting amazing, my seven is already falling behind, which is a shame because the quality of the images is fairly satisfactory. I have a significant grievance over the quality of the components, which has significantly deteriorated…

Pros
  • 1. The capacity to use optics that do not have autofocus, all the way up to very old Soviet lenses. 2. The overall high standard of the Pentax camera. 3. A magnesium chassis that is not only compact but also easy to use and waterproof. 4. The viewfinder is excellent, and it is made even better by the viewfinder magnifier that comes with the Pentax O-ME 53. 5. Pentax has Lim series lenses. 6. Kit lenses of a high quality, with the added bonus of being available in waterproof configurations. 7. The top display is illuminated from behind.
Cons
  • 1. Service, service, and more service. 2. A significant number of assembly flaws. 3. As a result of the dealer's monopoly, the price in 2022 is artificially inflated and unreasonable. 4. There are very few optics made by third parties.

Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

My second Pentax DSLR camera. The K200 was well-liked by all, but its time had come to be replaced. Everything about K7 is perfect for me. Yes, even the loud ones. It's not a big deal; photographers just need to use discretion. And specialized plugins can properly eliminate even the smallest of noises. I have no intention of making poster prints of my photographs. The output quality is superb whether you're printing at 10x15 or 21x15. As I didn't take a whale but a faster employee, I had to get

Pros
  • construction standards for the hull improvement over the K200 I used before upgrading to the K7. the option to switch lenses, a bright display, a rechargeable power pack, and an ergonomic design.
Cons
  • What Japanese idiot came up with the idea of locking the mode wheel? Autofocus live view with some consideration

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

Despite these flaws, the camera is still fantastic! The advantages greatly exceed them. Of course, just as with any SLR camera, the owner must have some experience, ability, and expertise. But when these are present, it broadens our perspectives and greatly increases our creative options. has various benefits: To replace my Pentax * ist DS camera, I purchased this one. The consensus is that K-7 contains everything that I was missing from *ist DS! The quick, "tenacious," and precise AF was the

There are absolutely no words to describe how excellent the camera is. After carefully examining the K-7's operation and its baptism by fire, I was able to identify only two of the aforementioned drawbacks. Pentax is an engineering marvel who can and SHOULD build a monument. The K-7 is much more than just the greatest K-mount camera (by a wide margin), but those who fall prey to bad marketing won't grasp it. Marketers' victims frequently select bricks with a high rate of burning.

Pros
  • 1) After K10D, sky and earth AF speed and accuracy, especially in low light (the green backlight also helps). Although the AF speed is slower in AF-C mode (only 2-3 fps as opposed to 5 fps), it nearly does not smear. 2) It found out that the camera was light (it feels much lighter in the hands than the K10D) 3) Ergonomics almost entirely without problems (but you still need to get used to it) 4) The video is of excellent quality, and the audio is excellent (especially if the camera is dustproof) 5) All-weather, frost resistance, dust and moisture protection (Pentax trademark), with DA* series lenses and new WR kits 6) The job is moving along at a commendably rapid pace. 7) Construction quality that "you can't dig in with all your will" (remember the magnesium casing) 8) It's hard to think that engineers were able to fit so many important things into such small spaces. 9) While shooting handheld video without jerks, the image stabilizer is very effective (4 steps is not the maximum). 10) "Pentax"-branded colors (I never had Photoshop) 11) Exposure metering is incredible (faces are not overexposed in 99% of circumstances). 12) auto BB is superior to K10D, on a strong 4. (sometimes it "warms" indoors, but there are a lot of BB settings) 13) screen versus K10D, once more, heaven and earth: viewing angles, colors, and detail are all excellent. 14) The battery has a large capacity; two of the three battery divisions are still usable after 1200 frames and viewing the resulting screen. 15) A normal battery and six AA batteries are used to power the buttblock. 16) TOTALLY deactivate the noise reduction (instead of soap we have all the details, and noise can be removed even with the built-in noise reduction, even in post-processing) 17) Viewfinder at 100% 19) The level of the horizon will be helpful when shooting landscapes, and the stub will correct the weak slope. 1/8000 shutter, 100k actuations. 20) For lenses from the DA series, distortion and XA can be automatically corrected.
Cons
  • 1) It takes some getting used to picking focus points by pressing the arrows without placing your finger on the OK button; 2) there are occasionally issues with the operation of extreme AF points.

There are no major issues. Fantastic camera quality. I only wanted to point out the blatant deviations from the tenth model. Benefits that vary: The camera is awesome. The acclaim has already been repeated one hundred times. In this brief review, I will highlight the Samsung GX-10's strengths and weaknesses that may not be immediately apparent (aka Pentax K10d). flipped to the "7" from her perspective. So . * quicker, more precise, more sensitive, video, LV; this is obvious; I shall not…

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

The release of K-5 on the market, which addresses the deficiencies of the "seven," may lead many people to believe that reviews of this nature are no longer relevant in today's environment. Nevertheless, not everything can be explained so easily. Users have had access to K-7 for almost a year and a half at this point. intensively researched, double-checked, and tried out in a variety of circumstances. It is common knowledge what its strong points and weak points are. Due to the fact that it has

Pros
  • 1. A magnesium alloy body that is dustproof and waterproof, mounted on a steel chassis. 2. Exceptional quality in both the craftsmanship and the assembly. 3. Excellent ergonomics. 4. The size and weight are surprisingly low for a camera of this caliber. 5. Intuitive and well-designed menu, as well as controls located on the body. 6. A wide variety of settings that let you personalize the camera to the greatest extent possible for your needs and preferences. 7. If you have optics of a high quality and the right settings, you will produce great photographs. 8. A shutter that is very gentle and quiet. The manufacturer asserts that there were 100,000 total operations. 9. A battery with a capacity that is sufficient. 10. Good display and viewfinder. 11. "lims" and "stars" are two excellent Pentax lens series that are currently available for purchase.
Cons
  • 1. Noise starting at ISO 800 and going higher. 2. The autofocus function could be quicker. 3. There is no on/off button for the stabilizer; the setting can only be adjusted through the menu. 4. The camera that I have won't work with memory cards larger than 32 gigabytes (firmware 12022, the latest). There is no information on the maximum number of memory cards that can be used for a Pentax camera anywhere - not in the instructions, not on the website, not anywhere. 5. Finally, with regard to the arbitrary aspects, I would like a rotary display as well as a proximity sensor. 6. And these are rather shortcomings not of the camera, but of the policy and capabilities of the brand Pentax: overpriced prices for Pentax products when purchased from the official dealer, and a more modest fleet of optics and a choice of accessories in comparison to other brands' offerings.

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

To upgrade from my K200d, I picked it up in Japan (I used it for a year). I didn't like it when I first held it in my hands to examine it because it's so out of the ordinary. After a day of use, its ergonomics are superior to those of the K200 and it feels great in the hand. The "peculiar" shift in attention also bothered me, like it did ochen13. I kept pressing the white balance button by accident, then figuring out where it was located in the settings and resetting it. The K200 is back to its

Pros
  • I really don't have anything to contribute to this review. ochen13 The new menu was a huge hit. You no longer have to dig through the menus to find the settings for modifying things like the image format, quality, and primary parameters. Shutter and mirror movement is so smooth that even the slightest trembling of the hand is imperceptible. The video's high quality was impressive, but its large file size was a downside. It is compatible with all non-autofocus threaded lenses, just like prior Pentax models. The stabilizer does its job, and the automation is bug-free (you only need to set the focal length)
Cons
  • The price of my camera is listed in 2022 and the instructions are written in Japanese.
