For over a month and a half, I have been conducting research on the internet. The Canon faithful criticize Nikon, while the Nikon faithful laud Canon. Pentax does not garner much attention from anyone. But it was all in vain - it was a good device: compact, lightweight, comfy, long-lasting, protected, and it produced a quality image. I recently acquired not one but two lenses: a Pentax 55-300 and a Sigma 17-70 MACRO. Both allow "dust and moisture to pass through them." Very satisfied ;-))).
