I like everything, the quality is good, the price is reasonable.

A Pentax K100D existed previously to that model. I am quite happy with him, but I recently came to the conclusion that I am no longer in need of him. I did not go any further because I did not intend to alter the methodology. Even though I observed how the five are shooting amazing, my seven is already falling behind, which is a shame because the quality of the images is fairly satisfactory. I have a significant grievance over the quality of the components, which has significantly deteriorated because Pentax Hoye was sold. I was forced to replace both wheels, first with one and then moving on to the other; the fotik has been in the shop for a total of two weeks and 45 days at this point. Someone I know who has a 5 has oil stains on their matrix. These are two situations that occur relatively frequently. And now we get to Pentax's most significant drawback: its 2022 service. When it comes to the service, you should brace yourself for the brusqueness of the receptionist, à la Soviet Union, as well as the lengthy repair period of 45 days.
In spite of everything that has been stated, despite how much I adore my Pentax, I do not intend to replace him.

Pros

1. The capacity to use optics that do not have autofocus, all the way up to very old Soviet lenses. 2. The overall high standard of the Pentax camera. 3. A magnesium chassis that is not only compact but also easy to use and waterproof. 4. The viewfinder is excellent, and it is made even better by the viewfinder magnifier that comes with the Pentax O-ME 53. 5. Pentax has Lim series lenses. 6. Kit lenses of a high quality, with the added bonus of being available in waterproof configurations. 7. The top display is illuminated from behind.

Cons

1. Service, service, and more service. 2. A significant number of assembly flaws. 3. As a result of the dealer's monopoly, the price in 2022 is artificially inflated and unreasonable. 4. There are very few optics made by third parties.
