These SSDs work well and won't break the bank. I've used them on 7 computers at work that were about 7 years old to last longer rather than buying new ones. They speed up your PC so much that in most cases it's like buying a new one. They are not as fast as Samsung SSDs, but they are also significantly cheaper. If you've never installed them on a desktop PC, rotary drives are typically 3.5" and these are 2.5", so you may need an adapter if your case doesn't have a 2.5" slot. I was able to just drill a few holes in a 3.5" plastic PC mount to mount a 2.5" SSD, eliminating the need to spend extra money on adapters. If you put them in a laptop they will most likely fit without an adapter, but be sure to check with the manufacturer and check thickness. I came across a laptop that needed a pad to make the SSD thicker, otherwise it wouldn't fit and make contact, but I think that's pretty rare (but this one doesn't come with a pad). This is 7mm thick so you might not get a laptop that requires a thinner drive, but I'd check with the manufacturer to be sure. They don't come with cloning software, but I recommend reinstalling the operating system. Anyway I've done this in all but one case and I've cloned a drive from a PC that was recently rebuilt with software that came with another brand of SSD and it worked great. I bought 7 of them and there were no DOA drives and so far no problems with their daily operation in a business environment.
