I bought this product because my feet were terribly cracked and dry. I soak my feet in warm/hot water for maybe 15 or 20 minutes before starting to use this product. What I wasn't prepared for was a tough but brittle product that started to fall apart as soon as I opened the package it was in, and then kept falling apart when I used it on my feet. The best way to explain it is like taking a styrofoam ball for a science project, open the plastic and styrofoam is everywhere. Basically this was the experience I had before using it on my feet and it didn't get any better once I started using it on my feet. I don't know exactly why it happened, if it had to happen or what, but definitely not thrilled about it.
