Great for increasing access to the 3.5mm jack for connecting a laptop to a docking station and under desk workspace. I use one of these with noise canceling in-ear headphones and the cable works great, but I also use one with headphones that use a mic and I'm having issues. This is because my headphones have a 3 ring jack and this cable is an older 2 ring cable. When I fully insert the headphone jack into the cable's socket, I hear a slight metallic noise on one side, so the cable isn't making the electrical connections properly. I have to unplug a bit to connect the headphones properly. I would like this cable to be updated to work with both 2 and 3 ring headphones, which I think is possible, but I think it's my fault for not spotting this issue, before I ordered the cable.
